Workers' Compensation Cost Management

INITIAL REVIEW

Employers Unity will gather all relevant information relating to your workers' compensation insurance program. A review of this information will allow us to assess strengths and identify weaknesses in your current workers' compensation program. Based upon such findings, Employers Unity will tailor a comprehensive program to your specific needs.

  • Employers Unity will initially perform a review of your workers' compensation program. This will include a review of your experience modification rate, premium discounts, corporate policy, and other relevant information. Once this information is evaluated, we will make any necessary recommendations to enable your company to take the initial steps to having a more cost-effective workers' compensation program.
  • Employers Unity will continue to annually audit your experience modification rate, premium discounts, corporate policy, and other relevant information.
  • Employers Unity will conduct annual reviews, which consist of detailed injury analysis reports, reserve reviews, open and closed claim reports, analysis of medical providers, and other relevant information to track trends in your claim activities.

CLAIMS MANAGEMENT

Administration of workers' compensation matters is shifted from clients with their many responsibilities to the trained Employers Unity staff. Our experienced claims staff takes responsibility for processing the paperwork and managing the claims. This frees your staff for more productive tasks. Our exclusive day-to-day responsibility is intensive management of workers' compensation, to reduce your company's workers' compensation costs.

Employers Unity will file a power of attorney and set-up online access with your workers' compensation insurance carrier. This will establish centralized control and management of your workers' compensation claims. This allows us to receive information in a timely manner. Communication is established between all relevant parties. This will eliminate the cost associated with unproductive administrative time, while allowing us the optimum time frame in which to manage the claim. Employers Unity believes proactive case management can keep all parties accountable and working towards the same end result. This brings the injured worker back to work as soon as possible and reduces your company's exposure. Our account executives develop a thorough knowledge of the business practices and claims history of every client. They are able to anticipate problems and offer objective recommendations based on their expertise.
